Report: EU can agree on joint gas, LNG purchases

MOSCOW, Mar 23 (PRIME) -- The E.U. leaders can agree on joint purchases of gas, liquefied natural gas (LNG) and hydrogen on Thursday and Friday, Reuters reported late on Tuesday citing a draft summit agenda.

According to the document, the countries agreed to coordinate replenishment of underground fuel storages as soon as possible. The leaders are also considering measures to protect the consumers from energy price increase and will discuss improvement of the energy market practices.
